How to recognise it

The crawler identifies itself, always, with a contactable address:

Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; ElbeBridgeComplianceBot/1.0; +https://ElbeBridge.com/scanner)

The identifying address links back to this transparency page and our contact details.

Access boundaries

The crawler is limited to publicly accessible pages relevant to an agreed or requested review:

• it respects robots.txt;
• it does not access authenticated or customer-account areas;
• it does not submit forms, add products to a basket or place orders.

If you believe an access fell outside these boundaries, contact us and we will investigate.

Responsible use

Access is kept proportionate to the requested review and designed to avoid unnecessary load on the website.

How to block it

We read robots.txt on every request and honour it. To keep us out entirely, add these two lines:

User-agent: ElbeBridgeComplianceBot

Disallow: /

A disallowed site is recorded as skipped and nothing further is requested. If you would rather tell us directly, email us and we will remove the domain from the list.

What we keep

We keep the information needed to deliver the requested audit and meet our business obligations. Audit findings are confidential and are not sold to third parties. We do not intentionally collect customer data. See our privacy policy for details.
