Accessibility statement

How accessible this site is

We believe this site conforms to EN 301 549 and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 at level AA. Specifically:

• every page works with the keyboard alone, and the focus indicator is always visible;
• the site ships no JavaScript at all, so nothing depends on scripts loading;
• text contrast exceeds the required ratio, and nothing is signalled by colour alone;
• text can be resized to 200% without loss of content or horizontal scrolling;
• the page structure uses real headings and landmarks, in order;
• German terms inside English sentences carry their own language attribute, so a screen reader pronounces them correctly.

How we tested it

Automated testing with axe-core against the WCAG 2.2 AA and EN 301 549 rule sets — the same scan we run for clients — followed by manual testing: keyboard-only navigation with the mouse unplugged, and a screen reader pass with NVDA.

Automated tools detect only a minority of accessibility problems. We say this on our own statement for the same reason we say it in every report we write: a clean automated scan is not a claim of accessibility.

Known limitations

None currently recorded. If we become aware of a barrier we cannot fix immediately, we will list it here with a date by which we expect to fix it.
